Peep Mondrian
Easter and its accouterments have grown increasingly abstract, approaching the non-representational through holiday merchandising.
Here we see Easter treats (Peeps™), pastel versions of the primary colors in their remaining representational forms – within a framework of perpendicular lines reminiscent of Mondrian’s neoplasticism.
