In case the dean is reading this thread. I'd like to just take a moment and mention (and add some credibility) that Both Sean, Patrick, and I have worked on very large websites with more notoriety than the business school of UTSA. (CMJ, ePromos, Eway, Staples to name a few). We have experience in IA, UX, & Accessability. Not to mention the technologies that drive websites from the back end to the front. So, the statement from the dean about not having credibility is well, laughable at best. And, as Patrick has said, shows the caliber of leadership that UTSA has. As a former student of UTSA I too am disappointed. Then again, as a former employee of UTSA as well, I'm not surprised. The political machinations of that university would leave many corrupt governments blushing.

I won't rehash anything that has already been said, but I would like to say that Sean is much more dedicated than I. This website lost me on load time. Anything beyond that is pointless in my opinion. If you make people who pay for broadband wait (or anyone else for that matter), they won't stick around unless they are desperate for what you are delivering. Not really the way you want to attract, or in this case repel people.

As for credibility, I think dismissing a thorough, well thought out critique says more about the Dean's credibility than anything else. It says they could obviously care less about user experience. That's quite disappointing to this UTSA Alumni.
